Christian Benteke has insisted agent sbobet that he wants to stay at Crystal Palace, but admits he will discuss his future with the club this summer.
The Belgian international has endured a frustrating season in front of goal, with his penalty on Saturday against Leicester City just his third goal of the campaign.
But amid speculation over his future and whether he will stay at Palace next season, the former Aston Villa and Liverpool man says he says he wants to stay in south London.
"Yes, I'm under contract until 2020, so I want to stay here, and I'm going to speak to the chairman and the club about what they want to do with me," he said.
"Every end of the season you have to speak, to see the plan for the next season. To speak, to see what they want to do with me."
Benteke admitted it was a big relief to finally break his duck for the season at Selhurst Park on Saturday, having not scored at the Eagles' home ground since last April, coincidentally also against Leicester City in a 2-2 draw.
And the 27-year-old said he was grateful for the support of his team-mates and the fans during his difficult spell, while he revealed how he felt stepping up to take the penalty against the Foxes.
"I won't lie – I'm a striker, and you feel yourself by scoring goals," he said.
"They're all behind me, because they know that it's not the best time for me, and it's the first time I've been through this hard time without scoring. They wanted to give me a big boost; maybe I don't deserve it [the hard time] but it can happen.
"I've been through hard times this season – it's the first time since I'm in England where I don't score like I wanted to score – so I thought [taking the penalty] 'it won't get worse; just go and take it'.
"I'm really happy. Because we played well, and I had the chance to score. I'm really happy for the team and for myself."
Meanwhile, Benteke said he would now try to focus on putting his troubles behind him, agent sbobet having had a few injuries this season to add to his lack of goals, while he has also found himself on the bench in recent weeks, with Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend impressing in more advanced roles.
But he says he hopes he can rediscover the form that he showed in his first season with the Eagles, scoring 17 goals after becoming the club's record signing when joining from Liverpool.
"They [the fans] saw the best of me last season, and I wanted to do even better this season, but it didn't work like that and I will go again next season," he said.
"It's been frustrating, because it's the first time that's happened to me. Last year I played when I came, so it was [frustrating], I won't lie, but it's about football. Everything can go quick, in a bad way or a good way.
"I'm pleased [I scored] but I'm not pleased with the season I've had; I just have to be focused to finish [the season] well, and then focus for the next agent sbobet season, mentally and physically."
